Can Human Writers Compete Against AI?
Most human wins. These words have been stuck in my head since reading Packy McCormick's blog post claiming the notion.
I've found it to be a great heuristic for evaluating differentiated content on the internet. The writers, artists, creators who position themselves behind uniquely human values win in markets for attention and create distribution that endures.
As we chart forward through uncertain economic shifts and towards human-replacement-level AI systems, just keep one thing in mind— Most human wins.

When general knowledge and intelligence is commoditized into machines, what becomes more and/or less valuable?
It's substitutes (human knowledge, intelligence) become less valuable.
It's complements/alternatives (human meaning, agency, creativity, experience) become increasingly/comparatively more valuable.
